Victorian Blouse.

Today we started our third Garment which is a Victorian blouse. Its very exciting! There are three blouse's and we were told which one we will make and also got our fabric. Here are some photos of the example blouse i will be making. its very pretty!

Again we studied the blouse to see what we would need to do, i feel that now after doing it twice already i can look at a garment and figure out how it was put together. Also there are pleats on this! Dexter again stressed how neat he wants the pleats, he also wants them so that the pleats are in line when it is buttoned up, and the same with the lace that needs to be symmetrical as well, so a little nervous but not at the same time as i have tackled pleats before.

The aim for next week:

• cut out fabric 
• sew in Darts
• make a start on the sleeves
• get some starch for the pleats
